Carex is partnering with a manufacturing/packaging industry partner to hire a Cybersecurity Specialist for an in-person role based in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

What You’ll Do

Participate in the creation and refinement of enterprise cybersecurity architecture and standards

Conduct cybersecurity baseline assessments and enterprise risk assessments

Offer expert consultation on cybersecurity best practices

Investigate real or suspected cybersecurity threats and maintain the risk register

Perform forensic investigations and support incident response efforts

Guide cybersecurity awareness campaigns and develop associated training materials

Conduct ongoing compliance assessments and manage intrusion prevention systems

Configure antivirus and malware protocols; analyze ATD alerts and refine detection rules

Define VPN and remote access guidelines; maintain web content filter rule sets

Lead vulnerability scanning and penetration testing efforts; develop mitigation strategies

Provide technical advice and training to internal teams

Remain informed on evolving network security technologies, methods, and standards
What You’ll Bring

3–5 years of experience in a large enterprise system
-
Deep knowledge of security architecture, standards, and technologies (e.g., antivirus, IPS, firewalls)

Familiarity with email, web, and cloud security; identity and access management
-
Experience with encryption, PKI, tokenization, and industrial control systems security
-
Proficiency in vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and threat modeling

Understanding of mobile security, PCI compliance, and micro segmentation
-
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present technical training
