Carex is partnering with a BioTech industry partner to identify a Senior Application Analyst who will play a key role in supporting and enhancing critical business applications within Digital Manufacturing, Production Planning, and Quality Management environments. This individual will lead system design, configuration, and optimization efforts while serving as a primary point of contact for end users. The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business process understanding, and leadership capability to drive system improvements and ensure high-quality application performance across cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead design, configuration, and continuous improvement efforts for applications supporting Production Planning, Digital Manufacturing, and Quality Management
- Serve as the primary support contact for end users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely resolution
- Analyze, design, and implement system enhancements and solutions to complex technical and business challenges
- Guide workflow design, system configuration, and testing activities to align with operational needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of system changes and enhancements
- Develop and maintain system documentation, processes, and training materials for end users
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned applications, providing guidance and mentorship to team members
- Lead estimation and prioritization of enhancement requests and support activities
- Monitor project and issue status, providing updates to leadership and key stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within IT processes and application support functions
- Delegate tasks and support team development while fostering accountability and ownership
- Participate in training sessions and support user adoption of new systems and processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
- Support integration efforts across SAP modules including PPDS, Digital Manufacturing, and Quality Management
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in application analysis, configuration, or project delivery roles
- Strong expertise in SAP PPDS, Digital Manufacturing, and Quality Management configuration and support
- Experience with SAP MM/PP modules and understanding of integration points across systems
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members in a collaborative environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business technologies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Willingness to support off-hours work as needed and occasional travel
