Carex is partnering with a well respected health system to hire an Epic Beaker Analyst to support both inpatient and outpatient laboratory workflows. This role will focus on the Epic Clinical and Anatomical Lab applications and related systems such as blood bank and data innovations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in healthcare technology and proven expertise in designing and implementing lab software applications to ensure optimal workflows and patient care. Must reside in MN or WI and ability to travel up to 20%.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with operational leaders, end users, and IT personnel to design, build, test, and implement Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology and related applications.

  • Translate clinical workflows into effective and compliant system designs.

  • Ensure regulatory standards are met while optimizing patient care delivery.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for laboratory application functionality and integration.

  • Lead and facilitate meetings, manage sub-projects, and contribute to project planning and estimating.

  • Apply problem-solving skills to evaluate user needs and system capabilities.

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including physicians, nurses, and technical teams.

  • Leverage tools for data manipulation and project management in support of build activities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology Certification (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

  • 7+ years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting supporting EHR systems or equivalent vendor-side experience

  • Proficiency in software application build tools and data handling methods

  • Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills

  • Working knowledge of analytical methodologies and business requirement translation

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and project management methods

  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams and technical/business audiences

  • Understanding of software development cycles and implementation processes

Compensation

$110,000–$126,000 annually
