Carex is partnering with a fintech industry leader to find a passionate and experienced Senior Marketing Manager, Direct Mail to lead and scale their rapidly growing prescreen direct mail marketing efforts within the fintech lending space.

This is a fully remote, permanent position!


Summary

In this strategic role, you will take full ownership of the prescreen channel, leading efforts to increase loan originations through optimized direct mail and digital campaigns. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally and with external vendors to build and refine a high-performing, data-driven program. With a rapidly scaling channel, aggressive growth targets, and a significant impact on year-end performance goals, this is an opportunity for a marketing leader to shape strategy and drive results.


What You’ll Do

  • Own the prescreen channel end-to-end, including campaign lifecycle management, performance forecasting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead strategy and execution of prescreen direct mail campaigns to drive consumer loan originations.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Risk, Finance, Product, and Analytics teams to ensure alignment and successful campaign delivery.
  • Oversee segmentation, targeting, qualification, and list management to maximize reach and ROI.
  • Apply rigorous testing methodologies and analyze results to generate actionable insights for continuous optimization.
  • Ensure all campaigns integrate effectively within a broader omnichannel strategy.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team as the channel scales, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain compliance and legal alignment in all campaign activities.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in prescreen, direct mail marketing within consumer lending.
  • Proven track record in campaign strategy, execution, performance optimization, and team management.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships for marketing and mail production.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into strategic actions.
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience and ability to manage marketing programs from ideation through post-campaign review.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
  • Deep understanding of credit data elements and prescreen processes.
  • Experience working with Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure campaign approval, compliance, and performance tracking.
  • Bonus Points: Experience developing and testing creative assets; familiarity with HubSpot, HubSpot Marketing Hub, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
