Carex is partnering with an insurance industry partner to find a results-driven Senior Program Delivery Lead to oversee a portfolio or program of high-impact, enterprise-level initiatives. This strategic leadership role focuses on accelerating value delivery by guiding the adoption and maturation of standardized program frameworks, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the alignment of program objectives with enterprise priorities. The ideal candidate excels at balancing execution speed with risk management, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
What You’ll Do

Co-own program strategy and delivery plans in partnership with enterprise planning, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Collaborate with business partners to define program charters, business cases, and stakeholder engagement plans.

Develop and maintain high-level roadmaps, success measures, and resourcing plans that guide execution and decision-making.

Establish and maintain governance structures, decision-making protocols, and compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.

Identify, track, and mitigate program risks and issues, escalating as necessary to enable resolution.

Drive execution using consistent program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, project management, business process management), with a focus on early value delivery via Minimum Viable Functionality (MVF).

Facilitate cross-team communication and coordination among project teams, planning teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.

Provide transparent, regular program status updates and performance metrics to key stakeholders and executive leadership.

Monitor and manage program budget, partnering with Finance to ensure financial viability and ongoing value delivery.

Oversee program closure activities, ensuring objectives are achieved, knowledge is captured, and deliverables are transitioned for operational ownership.

Serve as an objective and enterprise-minded leader, using data to challenge assumptions, expose risk, and measure outcomes against baseline expectations.
What You’ll Bring

Proven experience leading large, enterprise-wide programs or portfolios across multiple functional domains.

Deep understanding of program planning, stakeholder engagement, governance, and delivery frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid models).

Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational environments and influence without authority.

Experience managing risk, compliance, and financial oversight in program settings.

Strong communication, facilitation, and executive reporting skills.

Ability to drive alignment, accelerate delivery, and ensure outcomes through strategic leadership and structured program oversight.

PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar certification strongly preferred.
