Carex is partnering with a HealthTech industry partner to hire a Sourcing Advisor focused on the Clinical space.
The Sourcing Advisor – Clinical will act as a key liaison between Category Managers, internal business owners, and clinical suppliers during the sourcing process. This role focuses on sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships within the clinical and healthcare space, supporting initiatives that ensure cost-effectiveness, compliance, and quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a background in procurement, sourcing, or finance, with experience navigating complex, regulated environments.
This is a 6mo contract opportunity with potential for extension. Preference for candidates based in the Madison, WI area or a commutable distance to accommodate a hybrid schedule.
What You’ll Do

Partner with cross-functional clinical stakeholders to gather business requirements and align sourcing strategies.

Lead RFX processes (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) for clinical goods and services, ensuring supplier capabilities meet regulatory and operational needs.

Support supplier evaluations, negotiations, and due diligence to optimize cost, quality, and risk outcomes in the clinical category.

Collaborate with Contract Analysts to draft, revise, and manage supplier agreements.

Track sourcing initiatives and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Contribute to the rollout of clinical category management strategies across the organization.

Provide analysis on supplier performance, spend data, and cost savings opportunities.

Foster strong partnerships with suppliers and internal clinical stakeholders to support business continuity and innovation.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, finance, or supply chain, with exposure to clinical or healthcare categories strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiations and contract management, including knowledge of regulatory requirements in the clinical space.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

ERP experience (SAP preferred).

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across both internal teams and suppliers.
