Carex is partnering with a Midwest health system partner to hire a Sr. Epic Application Analyst – Willow Ambulatory. The Sr. Epic Application Analyst – Willow Ambulatory is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support of the Epic Willow Ambulatory and Willow Specialty Pharmacy applications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring patient care and safety by collaborating with operational leaders, end users, vendors, and IT personnel to align system functionality with organizational and regulatory standards. This hire must reside in MN or WI.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and execute implementation and upgrade activities for Epic Willow Ambulatory and Willow Specialty Pharmacy applications.

  • Provide advanced support and system troubleshooting to resolve complex issues and ensure optimal system performance.

  • Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to understand workflows and translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Perform application build, configuration, and testing using standard tools and protocols.

  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to support integration with related applications and workflows.

  • Maintain application documentation and adhere to change management practices.

  • Conduct system analysis and evaluate requests for enhancements or customizations.

  • Facilitate user training and contribute to adoption of application functionality.

  • Support compliance with applicable regulatory requirements through accurate and secure system use.

  • Lead meetings, manage sub-projects, and contribute to project planning and estimating efforts.

What You’ll Bring

  • Epic Certification in Willow Ambulatory (required); Willow Specialty Pharmacy certification preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.

  • 7+ years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting supporting EHR systems and integrated workflows, or similar experience with an EHR vendor.

  • Proficiency in application tools for system build and data manipulation.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare software applications and regulatory considerations.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across varied audiences.

  • Proven ability to analyze, design, and document system solutions based on user needs.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and organizational capabilities.
