Carex is partnering with a healthtech industry partner to identify a Technical Lead / Scrum Master to guide a growing, framework-agnostic Web Component Library (WCL) development team. This role will provide technical leadership, strengthen Agile delivery practices, and drive quality, scalability, and adoption across product teams. The position focuses on backlog strategy, team operations, component architecture alignment, and enabling a seamless developer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Agile ceremonies, ensuring consistent adherence to Scrum principles and high-performing team practices

  • Drive sprint planning and backlog prioritization, balancing component dependencies, bug fixes, enhancements, and infrastructure work

  • Partner with design teams to translate Figma component libraries and Jira backlogs into actionable development plans

  • Influence and standardize component architecture, API patterns, and developer experience across the library

  • Oversee npm release management, including versioning, packaging, and communication of release notes to stakeholders

  • Coordinate adoption efforts with product development teams, gathering feedback and ensuring scalable, system-level solutions

  • Establish and track delivery metrics and reporting for both team performance and product adoption

  • Identify opportunities for workflow automation, including the application of AI to improve efficiency and scalability

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in a Technical Lead, Scrum Master, or similar leadership role within software development teams

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, backlog management, and dependency mapping in Jira

  • Experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Google Lit

  • Familiarity with design-to-development workflows, including Figma Dev Mode and developer APIs

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in front-end development

  • Experience building or contributing to scalable software platforms or design systems

  • Demonstrated ability to influence architecture decisions and improve developer experience

  • Exposure to AI-driven workflow automation is preferred

  • Familiarity with mobile frameworks such as React Native is a plus

Compensation

$125,000 – $165,000 annually. If the range doesn’t align with your needs, please still apply! Carex values transparency in all steps of the recruiting process.
