Carex is partnering with a Health Insurance industry partner to hire a Technical Product Manager. This is a contract to hire opportunity, and will be remote.
The Technical Product Manager will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across software engineering and automation efforts that support health insurance operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of .NET-based applications and automation technologies—such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Business Process Management (BPM)—to enhance service delivery, streamline administrative workflows, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This position bridges business goals with technology execution, driving modernization and performance across multidisciplinary teams.
What You’ll Do

Develop and lead technology strategies for .NET-based solutions and automation tools aligned with core operational objectives.

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of software applications and automation initiatives, ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability.

Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to modernize systems and increase process efficiency.

Translate complex business needs into technical roadmaps and solutions that support organizational growth.

Lead and mentor engineering and automation teams while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with business and project stakeholders to align development efforts with strategic goals and timelines.

Ensure solutions meet performance, compliance (HIPAA, CMS), and security requirements.

Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and enhance operational consistency across business functions.

Maintain integration with core insurance administration systems and regulatory frameworks.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience

OR associate degree with 8+ years of experience

OR high school equivalency with 11+ years of experience

Minimum 3 years of experience leading technology teams in a management or supervisory capacity

Proven experience implementing .NET-based applications (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) and automation technologies such as RPA and BPM

Strong background in integrating software with insurance systems and navigating regulatory environments

Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, used in automation workflows

Clear ability to connect technology strategies with business goals and operational effectiveness

Demonstrated success communicating technical concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Ability to work remotely with reliable high-speed, non-satellite internet access
