The Mental Health Therapist role offers the unique opportunity to help provide proprietary treatment approaches in a premier facility, within a network of 15 states. Enjoy a limited caseload and an unlimited opportunity for career growth!

This position will be located onsite and in the beauty of the Cascade Mountains at the Klamath Falls, OR Residential Treatment Center. There is flexible scheduling with the option for a 4 day work week. Base compensation for the position is anticipated to be approximately $70,000 – $80,000 for Licensed Therapists and $60,000 – $65,000 for Associate (non-licensed) Therapists. A $5000 sign-on bonus is offered!
 

What You'll Do:

The Mental Health Therapist is a highly interactive position and is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of young adults and families. In this role, you'll have an opportunity to:

  • Exercise Evidence-Based Practices: Emphasize your knowledge and experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions.
  • Take a Client-Centered Approach: Stress your commitment to providing client-centered care, tailoring therapy to meet individual needs.
  • Drive the Therapeutic Process: Conduct Family, Group, and Individual Therapy sessions with a focus on driving therapeutic progress.
  • Exhibit Cultural Competence: Highlighting the ability to work with a diverse population and understanding cultural nuances is crucial.
  • Provide Collaborative Care: Express a willingness to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, and other specialists.
  • Effectively manage case assignments, ensuring a manageable caseload to facilitate the establishment of strong client rapport.
  • Maintain compliance with treatment standards through meticulous documentation of notes and adherence to MTP (Master Treatment Plan) standard requirements.
  • Contribute to the achievement of program goals by implementing and meeting outcomes testing and standards.
  • Oversee the fulfillment of program completion and discharge requirements for all clients.
  • Develop comprehensive discharge plans for students, ensuring thorough review with both students and their family members.
  • Seize the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with young adults and their families, bringing joy to their lives and contributing to generational healing.

 

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Masters Degree in Behavioral Sciences, including Social Work (MSW), Clinical Social Work (CSW), Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a related discipline. New grads encouraged to apply!
  • Oregon Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD) OR registered with the Oregon board as an Associate / Intern, working towards licensure.
  • Preferred: Experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
  • Preferred: Two years of working experience as a licensed or associate therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Preferred: One year of experience using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
  • A genuine passion for counseling young adults.
