Carex is partnering with an exciting AI healthtech startup as they add two experienced Regional Sales Directors who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. These roles will be report directly to the VP of Sales. You will leverage your sales expertise in healthcare technology sales, particularly in ambulatory clinician EMR and SaaS solutions. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base within your designated region. Delivering on existing and building strong relationships with key stakeholders focusing on trusted relationships with CMOs, CMIOs, CNOs, CHIOs, CFOs and other C-Suite executives in health systems to identify new business opportunities, and ensure the successful adoption of our AI-driven clinician SaaS platform.

What You’ll Do:
Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve regional revenue goals.
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts and sales opportunities within the region.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including healthcare executives, IT leaders, and clinical staff.
  • Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
  • Work closely with our CS team that provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Business Development:

  • Generate new leads through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and execute lead generation campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to represent the company and build brand awareness.

Sales Process Management:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline, and forecast revenue.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales efforts with company objectives.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the field to help improve product offerings and sales strategies.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in healthcare technology sales, with a focus on ambulatory EMR.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Experience selling to hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations, workflows, and technology needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
