Carex is partnering with an employee owned company as they embark on a search for their next Sales and Implementation Manager. This is a brand new role and fully remote, with quarterly visits to Madison, WI!
The Sales and Implementation Manager oversees the Sales and Implementation Support team, ensuring smooth and successful client onboarding and service implementation. This role acts as the main liaison and project manager, supporting team members and enhancing client satisfaction throughout the implementation process. The manager also collaborates with key stakeholders to develop strategic plans, refine workflows, and lead teams effectively toward achieving company goals.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Sales and Implementation Support team.
- Provide training, mentoring, and necessary resources to optimize sales and implementation outcomes.
- Coordinate proposal development, review, and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Track proposal progress, manage milestones, and conduct thorough post-proposal analyses.
- Develop and present client-focused presentations.
- Manage sales pipelines and report accurate forecasts to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate client onboarding and communicate the implementation process clearly.
- Proactively address and resolve challenges during the sales and implementation phases.
- Maintain collaborative support post-implementation for continuous service improvement.
- Refine procedures for increased efficiency, client satisfaction, and better communication.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all sales and implementation processes.
- Coordinate departmental activities and resources during high-demand periods.
- Partner with Regional Sales Directors to support objectives and maintain alignment with company goals.
- Create staffing plans, departmental goals, and budget projections with leadership input.
- Oversee team scheduling, resource allocation, and approve staff time-off requests.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and provide consistent performance feedback to team members.
- Track performance metrics and ensure compliance with CRM documentation standards.
- Develop and implement enhancements to improve client experiences and company products.
- Stay current with business products, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Contribute to content and programs that facilitate client onboarding.
- Communicate critical compliance and administrative processes effectively to clients.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Exposure within a sales role, or supporting a sales team
- Industry experience within a TPA or health insurance company
- Team leadership and supervisor experience
- Proven experience in managing, training, and mentoring teams through changee, and overseeing complex projects.
- Solid understanding of sales and implementation strategies and CRM systems.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with D365.
- Background in managing hybrid teams and working knowledge of health insurance products (e.g., Section 125, COBRA).
- Certificate in Flexible Compensation (CFC) designation.
