Carex’s partner, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of cookware products, is seeking a new VP of IT to join their family-oriented business.  This is a hybrid onsite position, and the successful candidate will live within commuting distance of their headquarters near West Bend, WI.

In this seat you’ll create an integrated technology vision, strategy, and architecture for the company, along with the overall direction and leadership for the Information Technology function. You’ll be responsible for IT innovation, strategic planning, and leading the selection, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of systems and technologies. You’re focused on flawless execution, business enablement and success. You’ll collaborate closely with the business at all levels and be an active member of the Leadership team driving strategic IT initiatives that propel the business forward.

What you’ll do:

• Provide overall management for the information technology environment ensuring validity and reliability of function and service, cyber security protection and disaster survivability
• Provide direction and oversight for the design, development, operation and support of business applications and ERP systems
• Support and leverage business initiatives in the area of Digital Commerce with an emphasis on B2B, D2C, Social Media integration and content media management
• Collaborate with key business process owners to drive business efficiency, continuous improvement, and cost efficiencies within IT and across the business
• Lead the selection and management of critical third-party partners and services
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the IT staff to ensure technical and professional growth and ensure that IT staff members remain current with technology and business trends
• Own the creation and adherence to the IT budget which includes employees, ongoing operational costs, capital expenditure, and enterprise technology costs
• Forecast future skills needed to acquire and develop an IT workforce with the appropriate mix of business We need this seat to have knowledge, technical skills, and professional competencies

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of work experience in all phases of information technology operations including at least eight (8) years of senior management / leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the area of Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business Administration or similar curriculum.
• Experience implementing and maintaining information system / solutions and leading employees in a fast paced, multi-location environment
• In depth knowledge of all aspects of IT and business application systems including Tier 1 and 2 ERP systems
• Experience in B2B and D2C digital commerce
• Experience with on premise, cloud based, and SaaS technology solutions
• Proven understanding of cybersecurity challenges, issues and solutions including managed cybersecurity service options and security awareness programs
• Highly developed business acumen
• Strong project management skills with a track record for driving execution, including multi-disciplinary projects
• Proven ability developing and executing IT strategic plans that are aligned with business objectives
• Ability to effectively prepare and present written and oral communications appropriate for multiple audiences and level, in and outside of the organization
• Highly evolved influence and negotiation skills
• Experience in budgeting, financial management and development of business cases and cost justifications in support of technology decisions

Our partner is seeking an ETL Developer to join their Enterprise Data Management Department. This position will collaborate with data analysts, database administrators, and BI Developers within the company to design, develop and deliver ETL (Extract, Transformation, and Load) applications using data warehouse design best practices. This role will also analyze data requirements, complex source data, target data models and is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes for the EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse), data marts, and outbound data delivery.
